Is hopeforchester affiliated with any local churches?
several local churches have members who attend, pray for and encourage the work of #hopeforchester, but we are not affiliated with any specific local church. all are welcome. we believe that Jesus is the only way to encounter God and be in relationship to Him, that the Bible is true, and that sin and evil are real and Jesus has come to save us from the evil we’ve done, and heal us from the evil done to us, and that He’s the only one who can.
Who can participate in hopeforchester activities?
anyone interested in experiencing the freedom, hope, forgiveness and healing power of Jesus Christ. if you want to know who Jesus is, walk deeper in your current faith or experience a fresh encounter with Him, you’re welcome to join in.
I’m not a resident of Chester. Can I still come?
of course. anyone who needs Jesus can come – which is everyone!
What should I do between monday nights?
we encourage you to get involved in a group of people who love and serve Jesus and who let Him lead their lives – people who prove what they believe by how they live. this might be a group in your house who meets, studies the Bible, sings and shares a meal together; it may be a group of people you meet at #hopeforchester; it may be in a local church, or something in between. we also encourage you to download a Bible app and/or get a paper Bible and read it every day, journaling what God says to you, and to find some music which tells you about Jesus and begin listening to it regularly as well. finally – pray! God wants to hear from you on the daily and talk to you too. He is interested in your life – be interested in His!
